Specialised run coach | 800m national athlete

RUNNING BACKGROUND

Running ever since I was put in a track club at 8, I have run on a national level for over 15 years representing New Zealand and more recently Germany. Being coached by different coaches globally, learning various training, fuelling and recovery methodologies, my expertise is primarily in mentoring and coaching women however believe every body is different and listening and learning from my own journey accompanied with the studies I have done, I am forever learning and optimizing my own training philosophy.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Running is more than just showing up and giving it your all. Knowing when to push, knowing your strengths and how to recover to achieve long term success is just a drop in the ocean. If you commit, we can work with any schedule and we trust the process we can make it all happen.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

The more you communicate with me, the better I can coach you.

RUNNING BACKGROUND

I started running at age ten and spent more than a decade competing at the national level in France. I placed fifth three times at the French Championships over 1500 m, with a personal best of 3'50, and I also trained overseas as a student-athlete in a Texas university. These years shaped my understanding of performance, consistency, and the craft of middle-distance running. Today, I coach with the same curiosity and discipline that guided me as an athlete, but with more perspective.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

My approach is rational, structured, and inspired by proven methods, yet not overly scientific or rigid. Training isn't competing; it's the space where we build without burning out. I focus on controlled effort, smart progressions, and arriving primed when it matters. I believe that relaxed is fast, that happiness accelerates improvement, and that running becomes sustainable when it feels good most of the time.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

Sessions should be (mostly) fun, breezy, and confidence-building, even when you need to push. Consistency beats intensity, no hero workouts. We do work hard, but we stay smooth doing so.

Specialised run coach | Marathon runner

RUNNING BACKGROUND

Started competing in 2010 as an u15 focusing solely on cross country, team relays races and short track races 1500/3000m. By 2016 I went to America on a scholarship where I focused on cross country and track 5000m/10000m. By 2023 as a senior I stepped up my distance to half marathon/marathon with my first one in Valencia running 2 hours 20 minutes. Since then I ran 2 hours 19 minutes at London marathon coming 33rd overall.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

My coaching philosophy centers on building strong, consistent runners through sustainable progression and individualized training. I believe that improvement comes from balancing purposeful stress with intentional recovery, and that training must fit the athlete's lifestyle to be effective long-term.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

Strength training. Doesn't need to be anything flashy in the gym right away. Home body exercises are a good start then build to the gym later. Consistency over intensity. Especially training for long distances.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Human First. Athlete Second.

RUNNING BACKGROUND

German national-level Track and Field Athlete specialising in the 400m and 800m events. I have represented Germany internationally and competed as part of the national team. I competed collegiately in the United States, where I became an NCAA Division II National Champion in the 800m and gained extensive experience in high-performance training environments. I am a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, holding a degree in Exercise and Health Science with a minor in Athletic Training.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Belief is that sustainable performance begins with the person behind the athlete. Training decisions always take life context, mental wellbeing, recovery, and long-term health into account without losing sight of performance.

COACHING APPROACH

As a coach, I work primarily one-on-one, valuing clear communication, trust, and individualised support. I believe strong coach–athlete relationships are built through honest and frequent dialogue and feedback. As a mother returning to elite sport, I bring a broader perspective to high-performance training. Coaching is performance-driven, yet context-aware: meeting athletes where they are, helps them navigate their individual circumstances, and guide them toward strong, resilient performance without compromising health, balance, or long-term development.

FAQs

3 months minimum. Momentum is built for athletes committed to long-term progression, not quick fixes. After your initial commitment period (3, 6, 9+ months), you have an extra week to decide whether to renew.

Yes. We train for specific goals, not to keep you in shape. You should have a race in mind or a particular performance target we can build towards. Momentum is for athletes training for something, not general fitness.

Your coach, a human. We believe that real personalization requires a human touch, that can understand your situation, take into consideration different factors and still get you to push further.

We match you with a coach based on your event distance, training background, language preference, and goals. Each coach specializes in specific disciplines—from 800m to marathon, strength to technique.

We currently integrate with Garmin, which syncs your workouts automatically to your watch. Don't have Garmin? No problem. We can work with any device or platform you use; Apple Watch, Coros or any other gear you're comfortable with. Just let your coach know.

Plans adapt weekly. Life changes, travel, work demands, or unexpected events are factored into your fresh weekly plan. Communication is key—the more you share, the better we can coach you.

If the coach-athlete relationship isn't working, we'll find a better fit. Strong communication and trust are non-negotiable for performance.

At Momentum we believe quality coaching deserves the financial compensation to be of a high level. In fact we believe in our price so much that the only discount we offer is to reward you for successfully referring us to your friends. If you refer someone and they successfully sign up, you will receive one month coaching at half price (150€). This is how much we believe in our coaches, our philosophy and do not rely on any other means of marketing other than you, our future athlete.
